Despite the fact that only Child Link appears in Majora’s Mask, Adult Link is, for some reason, also present in these sketches. Perhaps he was a prototype for Fierce Deity Link.

Majora’s Mask prototypes featured an adult Link mask, hence the sketches featuring him. Link appears gaunt in the third, I imagine it is the consequence of a planned scenario in line with the game’s decay theme. The fourth picture intrigues me more. Is the character farthest to the right the precursor to Fierce Deity Link, an independent alternate form or a deleted character?

That’s an interesting theory for the 3rd picture. My first thoughts on it were that perhaps it could be an Elegy statue

Looks like it was a cut character. She’s remeniscent of the swordswoman/knight trainee from Skyward Sword. Her dress is also very similar to Link’s. I doubt they’d go so far as to have ever thought of giving a gender-swap mask to Link, especially since she’s missing the cap, but maybe she was somehow related in-story. Maybe it was supposed to be Termina’s version of Link?

Notice that in the concept art with adult Link his facial features look highly reminiscent to his Twilight Princess incarnation.
