The Era of the Hero of Time (Child Era) Ocarina of Time

•Ganondorf’s Rebellion

While Link gathered the three spiritual stones, Ganondorf attacked Hyrule Castle. He took that strong measure in order to take away by force the treasure protected by the royal family and that led to the Sacred Realm.

As Princess Zelda escaped from the castle with the help of Impa, she saw Link. Princess Zelda prayed for the Triforce to be protected and threw the ocarina to Link.

•The Door of Time is Opened

Link placed the three spiritual stones in the Temple of Time, played the Ocarina of Time and opened the Door of Time. He pulled out the Master Sword that lay in the back, which was the last key to the Sacred Realm.

Ganondorf was aware of Link’s moves, entered the Sacred Realm and touched the Triforce. However, only the Triforce of Power remained with Ganondorf and both the Triforce of Wisdom and the Triforce of Courage went out flying in search of someone worthy.

•The Ocarina of Time

The key to the Sacred Realm that was protected by the royal family. It is possible to play a song which manipulates time and space. Its pale glow is reminiscent of the timeshift stones of ancient times.

•The Master Sword

A sacred blade with the power to repel evil and untouchable by evil people. Only the person worthy of being the Hero of Time can pull it out. Link proved his power, wisdom and courage when he obtained the three spiritual stones.

•The Three Spiritual Stones

There’s three spiritual stones: the spiritual stone of the forest (Kokiri Emerald), which is guarded by the spirit of the forest the Great Deku Tree; the spiritual stone of fire (Goron’s Ruby), which is guarded by the Goron; and the spiritual stone of water (Zora’s Sapphire), which is guarded by the Zora.

In order to obtain them, Ganondorf cursed the guardian spirit of the forest, the Great Deku Tree, and the guardian spirit of the water, Jabu-Jabu, and he threatened the Goron race. The shape of each spiritual stone resembles the symbols of the respective race.
