My name is Aria, and I’m a native English speaker and lifelong language enthusiast, 4th year Japanese Language & Culture major at a Canadian university, and former resident of Japan. In addition to my university education, I have experience teaching Japanese and English to groups and individuals, and work part-time as a freelance Japanese translator. My 8 years of experience studying Japanese guarantee that I can impart the building blocks of the Japanese language from the perspective of someone who has learned it herself.

Lessons are $25 an hour and include personalized study materials. They can be conducted via Skype, Gtalk, AIM, MSN, or any other program you’d like to use.
