Bad Writing here too. 3 years? So theres the King Of Hyrule, AND theres a princess Zelda with the bue hair, AND there’s “little Zelda” who is her daughter somehow, meaning her and rune mated at around 6 years old? Oh this is torture

  2. Dinosaur Rex says:

Zelda’s battle armor looks like fierce deity’s

  3. Keaton says:

HerOfTime: I’m pretty sure Zelda and Rune were much older than six.

Haha, I love this older style of art. It’s… Well I dunno how to describe it.

  4. humulos says:

Ha! Nearly laughed out loud when the King said “Why so serious?” If only he had also said ‘Let’s put a smile on that face’

  5. Dano says:

Jeez, if the monsters looked like that in all the Zelda games, they’d be pretty terrifying.

  6. Summer says:

    Geez, Link is a moron…. It’s almost insulting….

I understand that this came out a loooong time ago, when the series didn’t have much canon to go on, so liberties in designs and backstories are obviously understandable/acceptable…but even if I think he’s being a bit extreme and closed-minded, I agree with what HeroOfTime said on the previous page. This is a bit much, pretty much just a generic and poorly-paced fantasy that tries to sound like it’s based on Zelda…

You want to say Impa raised Link, too? Cool. Zelda is a strong-willed tomboy? I always like it when a princess isn’t portrayed as a weak and submissive character. You want to write a custom backstory for Zelda’s family line, and why Ganon wants the Triforce? Great!! That info was always extremely vague back in the NES age. But then you have Link who lacks his characteristic costume, and demons who look NOTHING like the monsters in the series…at least if the monsters were based on the Zelda enemies, and things like that, and it was padded with custom artistic license it’d be fine, but this is really just…not Zelda. :/
