This is lovely!! I love the Zelda Manga’s, especially for the older games that didn’t have much story in and of themselves. One thing that is confusing me. Zelda XVI(deceased) was mother to Zelda XVII and Link, but Zelda XVII is human, and appears to be older than Link, so did XVI have a husband who was Zelda’s father and then have an affair with Rune?

Because Little Zelda appears to be older than Link and she is the daughter of the King of Hyrule, a human, I assume that Link is an illegitimate child. The late Princess Zelda does look very young when she’s with Rune, though, doesn’t she. :/
It completely escaped me that the King was Princess Zelda’s husband. I just somehow blanked when ever Little Zelda called him father. I assumed that the king mentioned in the oping bit, was the same as later.*facepalm*
Also, since Link is half-elf he could just LOOK younger. Because looking at Little Zelda’s apparent age,the fact that Kana says Rune died two years ago of and OLD wound, Zelda and Runes age at the time she would have had to have conceived; looks to me like Little Zelda should be younger than Link…
I think the reason Zelda looks so much older then Link is because…Elves age slower then Humans. Either that…or Link is a midget. XD
That’s true, Delpheas, it could be that he appears younger because he’s a half-elf, since Kana looks very young. (Though who knows what age she is…)
You know, I think I like the Manga cannon better than the games. As of yet, the manga doesn’t have a split timeline, and Hylians being looked-down upon and the population being mostly human fits with the Gerudo having intermixed with the Hylians and in ALttP the major pop being Human with no Gerudo since this happens after…

I love this manga. All the monsters, especially Ganon, look almost real, especially when scary. I am still waiting for the rest of the pages to be translated, though.

Ah, elves aging slowly… it’s the only explanation! And yes, in this story Ganon actually looks like someone you would call the King of Evil… and not the King of Bacon.
